St. Joseph School Code of Conduct

The family that is St. Joseph School -- students, parents, teachers, administration and staff -- are committed to responding to God's graces so that they may be increasingly transformed into the image of His Son, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Because every member of our St. Joseph School family commits themselves to living the Gospel values and truths taught by Jesus Christ and manifested in his life, sacrificial death, glorious Resurrection, and ascension, we mutually pledge to God and to one another:

To treat others as we wish to be treated.

To love the Lord our God, with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind and with all our strength.

To love our neighbor as ourselves.

To speak and do the truth in love.

Abiding by these divine guidelines and principles, our relationship with God and with one another will honor Our Lord Jesus Christ and rightly reflect the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the historical purpose of our school.

The application of these truths as they apply to the conduct and attitude of specific individuals and in particular circumstances will be determined by the duly constituted authorities and in a manner which will bring credit to our Faith, our Church, our Diocese, our Community, our Parish, and our School.

We rejoice that the Code of Conduct for St. Joseph School seeks to honor Jesus Christ by doing the most loving thing, in the most loving way to everyone and on all occasions.

We joyfully welcome loving correction from all sources so they every member of the St. Joseph School family will be better able to live the Gospel values in an environment of mutual respect and of spiritual and academic growth.

And we confidently invoke the intercessory prayers of our patron, St. Joseph, and of his spouse, and Mother of our Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary, for St. Joseph School and all associated with it, praying that teachers may teach and students may learn according to God's holy and perfect will for all.
